Opening ceremonies is one of my FAVORITE parts of the ICU World Cheerleading Championships every year! While waiting backstage, we were able to walk around the room and meet tons of new friends from different countries. It’s always a humbling experience to see how excited all of the competitors are to meet Team USA members and take a picture with us!

Practices have been going great for both Coed and All Girl and the routines are finally set. Coed has been going strong and we’re finally to the point of trying to be perfect with every motion, stunt, pyramid and basket!

Even though I’ve been here before, these next two weeks are a little bit different for me because this year I tried out for the All Girl team instead of Coed. I am looking forward to this change and getting to work with and learn from the most talented cheerleaders/coaches in the country.

Read MoreTeam USA has finally arrived at Disney's All Star Resort and it feels like home! After a week and a half in Orlando, it's nice to be back to the place I know and love-Disney World! Before traveling to the hotel, we had our first performance last night at a local high school. It was a good experience to perform in front of a small crowd in our uniforms before we take the mat at the hp Field House.
